Depending on schedule, you may first visit Pompeii, a world famous Roman city destroyed and buried in 79 AD by a catastrophic eruption of Vesuvius. After enough time to enjoy the ruins and the museum, the trip will continue onto Caserta, to visit one of the largest royal palaces ever built in Europe: the sumptuous rooms decorated in baroque style, will leave you totally breathless. Due to weekly closure of Caserta Royal Palace, this excursion is NOT available on Tuesdays.
